Finding Dory. Directed by Andrew Stanton and Angus MacLane.
Finding Dory is a children’s movie about the regal blue tang fish Dory who searches for her parents in the Marine Life Institute, an aquarium and rehabilitation center. The film follows how the animals constantly try to escape enclosures in order to prevent spending their lives in captivity. The narrative seems to question the conservation efforts of the institute to release fish back into the ocean as most of the marine species in the film remain in aquaria.
